Shire Distilling

The 2-year-old rye whiskey partied like it was spring break in Panama for 4 months. Spending night and day in a used 30-gallon French oak cask that aged a Jamaican-style heavy dunder rum for 3 years. This harmonious union created a slew of tropical fruit aromas with some earthy mint sweetness. A taste of black pepper, ripe tropical fruits, and caramel with a lingering spicy fruit finish. Like screaming at an all-night rave, they declare, "We are Tejas!"
